Program Coordinator
The CERC Program Coordinator serves as a scientific and technical consultant
to the Center Director, and staff, on the integration and future direction of
science programs. Research program needs, recommendations, development, and
coordination of interagency or cooperative agreements with other agencies are
handled by the Program Coordinator. These duties are conducted to obtain
resources or services needed for meeting the goals of the Center's research
program. Other duties are to extend scientific principles and advance the
science through technical integration and critique of existing programs, and
related research conducted by national and private laboratories, universities,
and researchers throughout the scientific community. The CERC Program
Coordinator provides a liaison between CERC and scientists, and with other DOI
client bureaus, including researchers associated with related programs and
projects both in the United States and other countries.
