Gust M. Annis
Aquatic Resources Coordinator
Gust is the Aquatic Resources Coordinator at MoRAP. His responsibilities include aquatic GIS methodology development, GIS analysis, and providing technical training to MoRAP staff and partners. Gust also works with the Director and Assistant Director on aquatic project oversight and grant management and procurement.
Gust possesses a M.A. in Geography from Western Illinois University. His thesis is titled "Michigan and Wisconsin Stream Restoration: An Investigation of the Factors Affecting Project Monitoring and Evaluation". He received a B.S. in Education as well as the post baccalaureate equivalent of a Geography major from Northern Michigan University. Gust's interest in stream resources began while he was a volunteer for the Chocolay River Watershed Restoration Project in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. His areas of interest and expertise include GIS data development and analysis, aquatic species modeling, and watershed condition assessment.
