Aaron J. Garringer
GIS Technician
Aaron started working at MoRAP in the Spring of 2006 as a student worker. He joined the MoRAP staff on a full-time basis the following year. His responsibilities have included data creation, data collection and analysis work on projects such as Aquatic GAP, Nebraska Fish Modeling, Current River, as well as other various GIS projects. Currently he is working on combining stream data for the entire Missouri River Basin for the National Aquatic GAP program and on the Human Threat Indices Project for the EPA.
Aaron received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Geography with an emphasis in GIS from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2007. He received his GIS Certificate from the University of Missouri – Columbia with studies focused on Natural Resources.
