The Ozarks Stream Geomorphology Project has been jointly funded through cooperative agreements among the Missouri State Department of Conservation, the US Geological Survey Global Change Research Program, the USGS Federal State Cooperative Program, and the USGS Natural Resources Preservation Program.

The study is extensively coordinated with parallel biological studies conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey, Biological Resources Division, Cooperative Research Unit, University of Missouri-Columbia.
