Hydraulic Modeling of Ozarks Stream Habitats


Figure 2.3. Graph of the relationship between flows recorded at Eminence and Ratcliff Ford. Data was collected between 1992 and 1996. Low flows were measured at Ratcliff Ford with a current meter, wading rod, and tape and correlated with concurrent gage readings at Eminence. Flood discharges were estimated at Ratcliff Ford from crest-stage gage readings and the slope-area method. These discharges were then correlated with peak flows recorded at Eminence for the same flood event.
