Figure 2.5. Maps of the Ratcliff Ford finite element mesh. (A) shows the channel bed topography and (B) shows the substrate types and roughness values (Manning’s n) assigned to regions of the mesh. Substrate and roughness characteristics are based on grain size and vegetation observations made at each survey location.
