Case Description

On July 4, 2002, approximately 6,000 barrels of crude oil from a 34-inch subsurface pipeline owned by Enbridge, was released into a peat wetland complex that is within the watershed of Blackwater Creek, a tributary to the Mississippi River, near Cohasset, Minnesota.
