Project Description

The Village of Solvay Erie Canal Tree Planting Phase 2 project planted new trees along the trail within the Village of Solvay Right-of-Way. This phase planted an additional 43 trees along the trail to the intersection on Belle Isle Road and Mathews Avenue. These trees will help restore a natural buffer between the new trail and the residential sections of Gere Lock/Belle Isle Road and is consistent with urban forest management goals.
